| This Howe Truss Bridge was built from Garden-Texture plans. The plans were for a 104 foot bridge (52 inches). I needed a 144 foot bridge (72 inches) so I built this one 6 feet long and it works just GREAT. The plans are easy to use. I used my (inexpensive - garage sale for under $50) table saw. I purchased an expensive blade - almost more than the table saw - because I cut my own redwood parts. I have a nice supply of very seasoned redwood fencing boards that are almost 1 inch thick. Redwood is great to work with especially with that new blade! It cut those old redwood boards like it was warm butter. |
