Well, what is there to say? POTC is one of the best films in history! (yes, I believe so *obsessed*) backed up by some great actors (Johnny Depp *unbelievable... drool*, Orlando Bloom *he just keeps getting better and better*, Geoffrey Rush *wow, he did alot of movies this year*, and Keira Knightly *first actress lately to show some kick-ass acting*)
You've got an amazing Producer (Jerry Bruckheimer) teamed up with Gore Verbinski, and the script writers of 'Shrek'...Not to mention an amazing musical score by Klaus Badelt... with some help from Hans "Long John" Zimmer.
So, at this point, who cares if it is based on a theme park ride,... this film left you in awe... and in anticipation of what will come next ^_-
