An Analogy
Tom, a teenager brought the little boat that he had built to the river.  He carefully placed it in the water and slowly let out the string. Suddenly a swift current hit the boat and the string broke. Tom ran along the banks of the river to catch it, but in vain. The boat disappeared although he sought it until sunset.

A few days later when Tom walked home from school, he was surprised to see his little boat in a store window.
He then went to the shop owner and said: “Sir, that’s my boat in your window! I made it!” “Sorry, son, but someone else brought it in this morning. If you want it, you’ll have to buy it for one dollar.” Tom ran home and counted all his money. Exactly one dollar!
When he reached the store, he rushed to the counter. “Here’s the money for my boat.”
As he left the store, Tom hugged his boat and said, “Now you’re twice mine. First, I made you and now I bought you.”

The chart below seeks to illustrate the salvation from God the Creator to sinful man. The underlying Bible verses are linked to the bulleted headings in the columns and the rows of the table.

The Trinity Of The Fallen Man
What Happens With His Spirit, Soul and Body?
His spirit died although he is able to communicate as a living soul.

And the LORD God gave this command to man [Adam]: "All the trees of this garden may eat the fruit freely, but the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, do not eat the fruit, for in the day you eat it you shall surely die." (Ge 2: 16-17)
The woman [Eve] saw that the fruit of the tree was good to eat and tasted, and the tree was appealing because it gave understanding. Then she took from her fruit and eaten it and gave it to her husband who was with her, and her husband ate it. And the eyes of both of them opened, and they knew that they were naked; then they embroidered fig leaves and made loincloths. (Ge 3: 6-7)
But Jesus said to him, "Let the dead [dead spirit] bury the dead, but you, go and preach the Kingdom of God everywhere." (Lu 9:60)
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Ro 3:23)
Therefore, just as sin entered the world by one man [Adam], and by that sin also death, so death has spread to all people, for all have sinned. (Romans 5:12)
For we know that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin may be lost, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. (Ro 6: 6)

The Redeemed Trinity Man
What Happens With His Spirit, Soul and Body?
His spirit is revived even though his physical body will die, buried or cremated.

As it is written: "The first man, Adam became a living soul", but the last Adam became a live-giving spirit. (1Co 15:45)
But if Christ is in you, then the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of righteousness. (Ro 8:10)
So whoever is in Christ, he is a new creation: the old is gone, the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. (Ro 7:24-25)
In whom also you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: (Col 2:11)
In whom you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after you believed, you were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, Who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. (Eph 1:13-14)

Lord Jesus Christ Comes As We Breathe
For The Lost And Not Saved. . .
Left behind entering the tribulation period designed for the Jews (the Israelites). Salvation by faith and works during this period could be lost, because the tribulation saint is not sealed by the Holy Spirit. In contrast during this grace period salvation is by faith alone and sealed by the Spirit.

And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endures to the end shall be saved. (Mt 10:22)

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's [the Jews] sake those days shall be shortened. (Mt 24:21-22)
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (Re 20:4)

For the Redeemed And Already Saved . . .
Entering the presence of God with a new and eternal body (Body of Glory).

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (1Th 4:16-17)
And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, who delivered us from the wrath to come. (1Th 1:10)
For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, (1Th 5:9)
For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, that is, the redemption of our body. (Ro 8:22-23)
Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1Co 15:51-52)

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this? (Joh 11:25-26)

The Lord Jesus Has Not Appeared, We Already Dead
For the Lost in Unbelief . . .
Enter into death and suffer forever in the flame. The senses of the sinful body are fully functional in death (Lu 16: 22-31)

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Heb 9:27)

He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (Joh 3:18)
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
And in hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and seeing Abraham far off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. (Lu 16:23-24)

For Those Who Has Been Redeemed And Belief . . .
Absent from the mortal body and move to stay with Christ whilst awaiting for the resurrection body when Jesus comes. For in Christ has been circumcised with the 'sword of the spirit' in the matter of taking off the sinful body. (Colossians 2:11)

For the word of God is living, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Heb 4:12)

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. (2 Corinthians 5:8)
For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain. (Philippians 1:21)

The characteristic of the Resurrection Body
It is not a ghost body, non-material and not subject to space and time dimensions.

Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit has not flesh and bones, as you see me have. And when he had thus spoken, he showed them his hands and his feet. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have you here any food? (Lu 24:39-41)
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory. (Col 3:4)
Beloved, now we are children of God, but not yet what our circumstances will be; but we know that when Christ manifests Himself, we will become like Him, for we will see Him in His true state. (1 John 3: 2)

Conclusion
The road map for eternal salvation has been revealed by the Bible. Dear reader, have
you been found by the Saviour?
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
