Now Scortin and Raeo were wearily travelling through a desert, called the Land of the Damned. Now this desert was very vast and-
"Hey! Land of the Dammed! That almost rhymes. Ya know, Land, Dammed." spoke up Scortin. No! It's Damned! Pronounced Damn-Ed! Argh! Can't you people understand it? You insolent fool Scortin? Argh! Anyhow, they were in the land of the Damn-Ed and were running very low on their food supplies.Anyhow, in this vast desert they had come upon a giant scorpion.
"Just my luck." muttered Scortin.
"No, just mine!" said Raeo, the bad-luck elf. Soon enough they were running from the massive scorpion, when they came upon a large guard with a spear standing at a gate.
"Let us in! Please" said Scortin.
"Answer me this.
My first begins occaisonally,
My second starts rationally,
My third begins ecstatically,
My fourth ends with chocolate powder sentimently,
My whole is this gates only key.
What am I?
What is the answer?"
"Hey wait, isn't this one of those riddles where you take the letter of the word that it says?" asked Scortin to Raeo.
"No. It's just a riddle. I know the answer too! It's a www.http://cokecard.coca-cola.ca website!"
"Wrong!" uttered the guard, and a large hole appeared under the unlucky elf, who unfortunatley plunged to his death in some spikes.
"So, it is one of those riddles that you take the letter of the word, and make a word. Let me see, begins occaisonally, that's an O, starts rationally, well that's an R, begins ecstatically, that would be an E, and ends with chocolate powder? Cocoa ! Yes it must be cocoa powder! Wait a second, Orea? He must mean Oreo! I guess he spelled cocoa wrong! Hah! Mr.Guard cocoa is spelled C-O-C-O-A not C-O-C-A-O! Hah!"
"Oh darn!"
"So then the answer is oreo? Hah!" and with that he burst into laughter.
"Alright, next riddle.
I am the colour of wealth but am not rich,
I have wings but can not fly,
I have scales but am not a lizard,
I have eyes but can not cry." and with that Scortin responded
"A penguin? A dragon?"
"Wrong! A gold fish!" and with that the giant scorpion appeared, swatted the guard away and killed him, and with that Scortin ran into the gate and locked it on the scorpion who was soon in close pursuit. Soon enough Scortin had run through the city where people fled as the scorpion chased them. Soon enough Scortin had escaped the city and the scorpion and continued to travel alone.
