My Work At Echo
In order to fill my needed volunteer hours I decided to volunteer in a teaching role at Echo. This experience was very fun. I learned how to better express my ideas to people, as well as how to more effectively help people learn new skills by guiding children to complete engineering challenges.
At Echo I was also acclimatized to a work environment. Learning how to be responsible with transporting myself to work on time, clocking in and being where I need to be. This experience also helped me come out of my shell and be more extroverted.
Overall I think that My time Volunteering at the ECHO Leahy Center was very valuable and I learned a lot of very valuable lessons that will prepare me for my life after school.
