Founded in the realms of underground role-play, it set its roots in Yahoo Groups on June 14, 2003. Since that date, the group has worked diligently to bring the world of Anne Rice�s �Vampire Chronicles� and the �Mayfair Witches� to life. If you are an Anne Rice reader and enjoy writing and role-playing, as Elders of this very active, very imaginative group, we welcome your interest. The following are the basic steps to becoming a Hunters Member: 1. Look over Hunters of the Savage Garden Web Site. 2. Read over Hunters Rules and Current Story Line Information. 3. If still interested, contact one of the Elders of Hunters via email or Instant Message in Yahoo. 4. The Elder will respond within 48 hours of receiving your inquiry with possible times to meet and discuss you interest. 5. After the meeting, the Elder may offer you a 14-day Guest pass to our Home in Groups. 6. If given the Guest pass, you won�t be able to post or upload files to our home, but you will be able to investigate our files and our Posts. To join it is requiered that you read the last 50 post from our Messages (Wall) and know our rules and methods of posting. .You will also be able to attend our private Group Chats on Sundays 7-9 CST/USA. (Fall and Winter Only) 7. After your 14-day pass you will be asked if you are still interested. If your decision is to stay to read, present your request and you may receive an extension pass. If your decision is to stay and play, present your request and an Elder may help you by giving you an extended guest pass with suggested reading or pairing you up with another member to begin creating a character; this is also for your additional support. (Remember: Hunters are expected to socialize within the Family; no cliques allowed) 9. Before taking any name, you must understand the rules. You will then make a name, get it approved, then submit a sample post - a piece of role play, journal post or narrative post - to the Elders. They will each review it and let you know within 48 hours if your name and character is approved or declined. 10. If approved you are expected socialize within the family; be supportive to other members, assist in the training of new players, keep OOC out of the role play, and post at least once a week. If something comes up where you will be unavailable to play for a while, just inform an Elder that you will be absent for a period and post your character as out of town. We reserve the right to deline any request for membership for any reason we choose. Advice For Guest and Interested Parties: 1. Read all you can within the walls of posts in Hunters (if Guest) or our website. 2. Ask as many questions as you can, as often as you're able, even if it means simple emails to Elders. 3. Know the Rules. 4. Read Rice materials as often as you can. 5. Stay up with current posts because we post on average of 5 to 7 posts per day; it's easy to get behind. 6. Read the Current story line updates and info at the web site. 7. Communicate with as many Hunters as you can. 8.
