Φ (Philalethean Society)

The Philalethean Society was founded Nov. 13, 1913 when the Hesperian Society split into the Euglossian Society and the Philalethean Society. The colors of the Phis are green and gold and their symbol and flower are the Phi duck and the yellow rose. "Do ye Beste," is the motto that drives every Phi to bring about a higher realization of herself. The Phis participate in many philanthropy endeavors, including a Headstart Christmas Party and tutoring at the Teen Center.
