Tyler is a young doctor who often uses his charm, good looks and quick talking to get what he wants, and get himself out of trouble. He returns to Oakridge upon taking a job at Oakridge General, and ends up staying with his brother, Rex, a prospect which Rex's girlfriend, Jessica, isn't too happy about.
Tyler is also an old friend of Megan Sterling's as the pair used to be friends when they were younger.
