| With Joseph's scheme to take control of Shane's half of Sterling Enterprises taking shape, his dalliances with Shane Baldwin's lawyer, Madison Chase, could prove to be costly for both of them. But with this storyline growing to involve not only John and Kendall, but Kimberley, Shane, Taylor and Diane, it's only a matter of time before this storyline explodes, with massive repercussions for some, if not all, of the involved parties. "It's a storyline that came out of nowhere," explains H&S writer Allan Craig, "It just grew organically and as it continued to evolve, more and more characters were slowly drawn into it. What started off as a subplot has turned out to be the backbone storyline of the season. Eventually it will encompass every other storyline; you have Madison going behind Shane's back with Joseph, so there's bound to be explosions there; you'll also see how this factors into what is going on with the Shane/Kristen/Greg triangle, and eventually will link into things that will go on with Kendall's relationship with Leo. It's definately one to watch." "At the heart of this storyline you have the relationships between the characters; Joseph's actions will threaten to drive a wedge between him and Diane, while Greg's loyalty to his family causes Kristen to question her future with Shane. Not only that, but this will link into what is going on with Ashley and Tyler in a very surprising way. It's definately a storyline that will provide a lot of dramatic potential for the future; things are definately going to change in Oakridge by the end of the season." |
