Worshipped by his mother, Leo Sterling was always the golden boy who was perfect at everything. His years of playing sports competitively developed an impressive physique whilst his parents' ruthless and witty nature rubbed off on his personality. Leo has not spoken to his father, Shane Baldwin, in years and doesnt intend to make up with him any time soon.
Leo came to Oakridge following a call from his cousin, Megan. A multi-millionaire at 21, Leo developed a liking for the finer things in life and enjoyed a decadent lifestyle of partying, drugs and casual sex. He had brief flings with Ashley Abbot and Natalie Denman, who he ended up impregnating. While initially hesitant to deal with Natalie's pregnancy, Leo soon came around to the idea of being there for his child after a few words from Kendall, making him see how he missed out growing up without a father and how he should be there for his own child.
At the same time, Leo's estranged father, Shane Baldwin came to Oakridge to help Kendall run Sterling Enterprises, forcing an uncomfortable father/son reunion. However, Leo was forced to put his resentment for Shane on hold when he was dealt a blow in the form of losing his daughter, Grace, which quickly sent him into a drink and drugs fuelled depression which landed him in hospital following his consumption of some tainted drugs that were later revealed to come from a drugs circle run by Shane Baldwin.
While his sister, Kendall, was determined to look after Leo as he recovered from his stint in hospital, Leo was unable to take her overbearing nature and fled Oakridge for his old stomping ground, Los Angeles. |
