Kendall turned up in Oakridge at her mother's funeral and dropped a bombshell: she had inherited everything that her uncle, John, had signed over to Jackie in order to protect his assets in his divorce from Diane. Her uncle, Joseph, tried to swindle her out of her inheritance; the company her mother left to her, but was unsuccessful. Now Kendall is vowing to get her revenge.
Kendall accidentally caused a family feud with her brother, Leo, when she met with his estranged father, Shane Baldwin, for a business proposal. Leo is not happy with Kendall for bringing Shane back into his life, and after Leo losing his daughter and sinking into a deep deprssion, Kendall's eagerness to look after her brother only served to drive him away. However, the real cause of her problems, in Kendall's eyes, is Shane Baldwin, Leo's father, who she is determined to run out of town following his responsibilty for supplying the corrupt shipment of cocaine that almost killed her brother. However, Kendall's overbearing nature has meant that the only person who she has successfully driven out of town is the one person she loves the most; her brother, Leo.
Kendall also formed a close relationship with Dr. Cal Ryan; with both of them having issues with their families they provided each other with a sounding board whilst allowing a romantic relationship to blossom. |
