In her younger years, Jessica slept her way through half of the men of Oakridge and has had bitch fights with half of the women. She was very outspoken and never when to shut up, which lead to her gaining a bit of a repuation throughout the city. Her best friend is Carrie, and they have been since childhood.
Jesisca's relationship to Josh broke down for a number of reasons but she found happiness with Detective Rex Davis, who was investigating the disapperance of her best friend, Carrie. However, Rex's constant devotion to his career led to her seeking comfort in the arms of Shane Baldwin, and her affair ultimately led to an unexpected pregnancy. Unsure of what to do with the unborn child, Jessica learnt of Shane's involvement in a shipment of drugs that put Leo Sterling in hospital, but feared commiting herself to a life with Rex would ultimately lead to her being unhappy; and after deciding she could never raise a child with either of the potential fathers, Jessica appeared to terminate the pregnancy. When Rex was offered a promotion in Philadelphia, Jessica saw it as her chance to make a fresh start away from Oakridge and Shane Baldwin, but at the last minute she couldn't bring herself to get on the train with Rex and walked away to make a new life for herself on her own terms. |
