Diane enjoys the high life, the respect, honour and prestige that comes with being the wife of the richest and most powerful man in town. She focuses all of her attention on her son Greg, and has recently been reunited with estranged daughter Megan. Diane will do anything to keep her position in the social food chain. Now that her marriage is in ruins, Diane is showing her true colours and scheming her way to stay at the center of the Sterling family, she even went so far as to lie to Jackie about having control of the Sterling estate before killing her.
Diane fell for her brother in law, Joseph, after her marriage to John fizzled out. Despite their scheme to swindle Kendall out of her inheritance: Sterling Enterprises, going wrong, Diane and Joseph are still very much in love and are planning a lavish society wedding to mark their arrival as Oakridge's latest power couple. However, they now have to contend with oppostion from all sides as their respective families turn against their relationship. Their situation is currently complicated by Joseph's continuous schemes to shoehorn his way into Sterling Enterprises. Diane is unable to decide if she can build a future with a man who places her desire to build bridges with her family second to his desire for power and money. |
