Ashley Abbot's teenage years were filled with drama, from her experience with a psychotic beauty queen when she entered the Miss Oakridge pageant, to the breakdown of the relationship with the first love of her life, Nick Fitch, when he moved away. The end of her relationship with Nick caused her to begin partying a lot, resulting in an encounter with playboy millionaire Leo Sterling. While Ashley thought it was love, Leo wasn't interested in the immature teen and ignored her constant calls, leaving Ashley depressed.
