Haridasa Sahithya is an important segment of Kannada literature. Dasas championed the Bhakti marga to attain
divinity and made understanding of the doctrines of the religion easy to the common man through their
sahithya. Contributions of Purundara Das, Kanaka das, Vijaya das among other greats have made invaluable
service to the cause of Madhwa philosophy.
Professor Dhirendra Vasudevrao Potdar has been working on bringing selected Kannada works of many Dasas in to English and these have 
been published to the select audience over e-mail. This web-site is an effort to put them together in
one place and make them easily available.
