Endless Waltz is the movie that follows the Gundam Wing series, which you probably know, was produced by Sunrise. The Gundam Wing series had a mediocre ending. Some thought that was a great ending to the series, but others felt they needed more closure.
The movie still has the five Gundam pilots, and many other important characters seen in the series. The Gundams are "re-made" because of the change of Gundam Designers for the movie. The Gundams did not change at all after the series, but the new designer had different views of how the Gundams looked like. At the end, you are givin more closure, and a better, "sense of an ending"; you are witness to the Gundams being self-detonated, and the characters and their somewhat adjusted life.
Endless Waltz has a good plot, and an awesome soundtrack. The fighting/action is also well done. |
