NEW RELEASE
The Darkening

by The Darkening Team (WWW Page)

Episode One of The Darkening features 11 new levels and some great new textures, as well as music by David "Tolywn" Shaw (who's worked on Icarus, Memento Mori etc).

I did two levels for this project, but without bias I can honestly say that this is the best megawad I've seen in a long, long time. It's also the first time I've played through a whole megawad in one sitting without using any cheat codes.

All I can say is that it's damned impressive. Discordia (MAP08) is the best Doom level I've ever done, and it probably isn't the best of the pack...

This is one WAD you shouldn't miss!

NEW RELEASE
KMetl 3

by Kurt Kesler

Another impressive level from Kurt Kesler, this one much more spacious than the preview two levels in the series which were a little cramped in places. KMetl 3 is wide open with huge courtyards and enough sky to give you agrophobia. New textures this time round are remixed versions of Doom II originals, giving brick walls with metal borders and so on...

Monday January 5th
NEW RELEASE
Prower's Collection

by Michael "Prower" Reid

A collection of 8 of Mike's best levels, including two Doom Level Of The Week award-winners, a level from The Experiment (which also won a Level Of The Week award), and four new levels... The quality is variable, but most of the levels are excellent. Worth downloading, even if you've got the Doom versions of the older levels.
