Command: An instruction given to the computer to do some work.

Computer Graphics: The pictures drawn by a computer.

CS: A LOGO command that clears the monitor screen and puts the turtle at the centre.

FD: A LOGO command that draws a line in the forward direction.

Graphics: Drawing pictures, graphs and charts.

HT: A LOGO command that hides the turtle from the screen.

Instruction: Same as command.

LT: A LOGO command that moves the turtle in the left direction.

LOGO: A simple computer language, which can be used to draw pictures and do calculations.

LOGO Procedure: A set of LOGO commands given one after the other to perform a particular task and referred to by a name.

PD: A LOGO command that puts the turtle in draw mode.

Pixel: A tiny dot that can be illuminated or darkened on the monitor screen.

Primitive: Command given to the turtle in LOGO.

Programming Language: A language used to write programs and give instructions to the computer.

PU: A LOGO command to put the turtle in non-draw mode.

REPEAT: A LOGO command that draw something again and again.

RT: A LOGO command that turns the turtle in the right direction.

StarLogo: Is a specialized version of the Logo programming language.

Turtle: The triangular shaped figure on the LOGO screen. It works as a pencil on the LOGO screen.
