Year Event
1937 Launched as the Lady Sylvia from Pointhouse Shipyard in Glasgow, Scotland. She was built for the Union Steamship Company.
May 7 - July 11 - Lady Sylvia travelled from Scotland to British Columbia, crossing the Atlantic and sailing through the Panama Canal. Renamed Lady Rose upon arrival in British Columbia.
1942 Put into the war service under the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps. She transported goods and troops between Port Alberni and Ucluelet.
1946 Returned to Union Steamships.
1951 Sold to Harbour Navigation Co. Ltd.
1954 Began service under Coast Ferries Ltd. between Steveston and the Gulf Islands.
1960 Leased by Alberni Marine Transportation Ltd. and provided service to Bamfield and Ucluelet from Port Alberni.
1969 Bought by Alberni Marine Transportation Ltd.
1979 Bought by Diversified Holdings Ltd.
1982 Lady Rose began to operate under what is now Lady Rose Marine Services.
