1964 Launched
1968 The Queen of Nanaimo had platforms installed in the vehicle deck to increase capacity.
1970 Along with six other ferries, the Queen of Nanaimo was stretched 84 feet to further increase capacity.
2001 October 15 - The post-September 11th anthrax scare hit BC Ferries when a crew member on board the Queen of Nanaimo found an unidentified white powder in a roll of coins. The ferry was taken out of service for the day.
