The Poison Frogs
Poison Frogs are rapidly becoming one of the most sought after frogs in the Herp. community. They are wonderful animals, and lend themselves well to captive care. Their endearing qualities of being diurnal (active during the day) and not messing up the glass walls of their condo puts them at the top of the list almost immediately. But by far their greatest attraction is their vibrant colours which make them almost fake looking.

Above is our group of Powder Blue Dendrobates tinctorius. These are beautiful frogs which are quite large and can be very bold once they get used to you, and if the humidity is kept high enough. They have no problem coming up to the glass to feed on fruit flies right in front of you.
These are
two of our Epipedobates tricolor. They are really nice little frogs but
are not as popular as the Tinctorius group because their colours are not as
bright and they are very small. You have to look pretty hard sometimes to
see these guys in a well planted aquarium.

Not even close to all of our Poison Frogs are pictured here, I will try and get more pictures up soon.
