Eric Lively starts in
Disney Channel’s new original series So Weird as Carey Bell, Clu’s
older brother.
Hollywood
took notice of Lively at an early age when he was cast as the baby
in the feature film Brainstorm. Growing up with parents who were
acting coaches, he started perfecting his trade and landed series
regular roles in the Ron Haward directed HBO series Billy Purdue,
the CBS series Crime and Punishment, the ABC series Life Happens and
a recurring role on the longrunning ABC series Full House.
Lively decided to take a break from acting to graduate from High
School early age of 15. While living in New York, he was discovered
by the casting director of the recently-released Universal Pictures
feature American Pie, in which he landed a supporting role. Shortly
after wrapping American Pie, he got the lead in the independent
feature Route 66, opposite Diane Ladd. After moving back to Los
Angeles, Lively was cast as Carey Bell, winning the role among
hundeads of hopefuls in an international search.
Presently single, Eric likes girls with personality, professing that
both Drew Barrymore and Heather Graham fit into that category
because of their light and open attitudes.
On his off time, Eric likes tinkering on the piano and strumming his
guitar, and Blast Magazine has reported that Eric is currently
recording an album which he will ask fans to help name.
