One city inspection and another payment later, on March 30, 2000 the shotcrete crew shows up. This cement sprays out of a gun, and they smooth it into place. Finally, THERE are the steps!

They had a tough time keeping it in place on one of the side walls. And after they were done we had to wet the surface several times a day to keep major cracks from forming.
