Help Article- Battery Problems
How many of you have serious battery problems on your cybiko? Well one of my friends who has a cybiko did and I have talked to a lot of people who�ve had them too.The usual problem occurs in charging and in how long they last Here is help on the how long they last factor. Here is a faq question off the site. PROBLEM: My batteries last less than 5-9 hours of continuous play time, can I improve it? What do I do? ANSWER: YES! It means the battery contacts are oxidized. Simply unscrew the 2 screws holding the battery cover, remove the batteries carefully and clean the contacts on either end of each battery AND the contacts inside the Cybiko computer with a file, emery paper or broach file. Replace the batteries back into the Cybiko computer making sure to follow the correct direction (don't mix the polarity). Screw the back cover back onto the Cybiko computer. Now, charge your Cybiko computer and enjoy. Next time you may need to clean the contacts again won't be for 3-5 months.
ANSWER: Make sure you charge your Cybiko computer overnight, charging it for only a little while will not fully charge your batteries. Hope that one helps you if not refer to the charging section of this article. Here is the solution to the charging problem. Well my friends problem was that his brother�s cybiko wouldn�t charge at all here are my steps to getting the problem fixed. 1. Continuously try to charge it over night make sure the cybiko is on and the cord is plugged snug into the wall and your cybiko. 2. If all else fails call 1-877-4CYBIKO they sent my friend new batteries because of defects on the new model ( esc.switch). If you are having this problem and you�ve completed all these steps I suggest you call. Hope it helps!
