Chapter 2

"Billy, Dom, what ARE you two doing?" I asked. "We're talking to people in Billy's website chat." Dom said. "You two! Are you behaving yourself Dom?" I asked. "Of course!" He said. "Where's Lij?" I asked. "He's at work. He got a call telling him he had a meeting to go to today, but he said he'd try to be home early." Billy said. "Figures." I said. I sat down loudly on the couch. "What's wrong Little Girl?" Billy asked sitting next to me. "I'm beginning to think he doesn't like me." I said. "Why?" He asked. "We've been friends forever, and now that he's a REALLY famous star he's always to busy for me." I said sadly. My eyes started to water. "Talk to him, I know he still likes you, maybe he doesn't see what he's doing, but if you tell him he may change." He said. I wiped my tears away. "BILLY! Check this out, it's funny!" Dom yelled laughing. Billy ran to his computer, and laughed. I walked over, and read what it was. "Dom! That's funny, where'd you get it?" I asked. "E-mail." He said. "Do you want to see my house?" He asked. "Sure, Billy are you going to come with us?" I asked. "No, I think I'll stay here, talk on my computer." He said. I smiled. "OK." I said. Dom and I drove to his house. As soon as I saw it I loved it. "DOM! I love it, it's so cute!" I said. We walked inside. I got a tour of the place. "Dom, I love it!" I said. He smiled. "So do I. Right when I saw it I fell in love with it." He said. "Dom, you are so passionate about everything, how do you do it? I wish I could be passionate about things like where I live." I said. He smiled. "I don't know, I just am." He said. We talked about some other things then we decided we should go home. "So, I can't believe you were 16 last time I saw you! Look at you now!" He said laughing. I laughed. "What is so attractive about me now Dom?" I asked. "You're 21, not 16. When you were 16 you were a minor, and there's laws against things like that, but now that you're 21 I guess I just saw you in a whole new light." He said. I nodded. "You are my big brother though, and you like Hannah." I said. He smiled. "Yes I am your big brother, and yes, I like Hannah." He said. I smiled. "She's coming tonight." I said. He started freaking out. "OH MY GOD! Do I look OK? Does my hair look ok? Does my house look ok?" He asked frantically. "DOM! STOP!" I said. He stopped. "Everything looks fine, including you!" I said. He calmed down. "Let's go back to Lij's." I said in an unhappy tone. "You're mad at him, aren't you?" He asked. "Yeah, I am." I said. "Don't hold the fact that he's famous against him. He tries." Dom said. "I'm not, I'm holding that fact that he never has time for me against him." I said. "He tries to see you! He's tried countless times to come to Iowa, but work holds him back, he gets a sudden meeting or you know. It makes him so angry though." Dom said. "Really?" I asked. "Really. You know he likes you, and you like him." He said. I smiled, and nodded. My cell phone rang. "Hello, the one and only me. Oh, and by the way Hobbits rule!" I said not knowing who was calling me. "Uh…OK." I heard Lij say. "Speaking of Hobbit." I said. "OK, first, you're so dorky. Secondly, do you want to do something once I get out of this meeting?" He asked. "Sure, what were you thinking?" I asked. "We could go to diner, then go talk somewhere." He said. "Sure, sounds great. See you then." I said. I hung up. Dom was mumbling to himself about Hannah. I smiled. I decided today was the day, I was going to tell Elijah.
