Just a mile or two from Tenby is the little harbour town of Saundersfoot.
It is one of the most popular seaside resorts in this part of Wales. There are three car parks close to the beach but I advise you to arrive early as they can become full  in the height of the season. Access to the beach and harbour is suitable for visitors with wheelchairs.
Saundersfoot is noted for its pubs, clubs, restaurants, and wine bars.
The beach is sandy, and the sea is clean and safe for swimming. There is also a pretty harbour very popular with sea anglers or there are fishing boat trips from the harbour.
There is a lovely walk from the beach through a cliff tunnel to an area called Wiseman's Bridge.
Note Dogs are banned from parts of the beach between 1st May ~ 30th Sept. Toilets at the beach with facilities for the disabled.
