Rhosilli village has tea rooms overlooking the bay, a National Trust gift shop, the Worms Head 2star hotel, cafe and small shops.
The car parking is excellent with a 2 charge, (2002) and the toilet facilities are good.
The access to Worms Head is suitable for wheel chairs.
Worm's Head
Rhossili bay is a beautiful expanse of golden sand backed by lush green hillsides, and very popular with tourists to this area of the Gower.
One of the main attractions at Rhossili is 'Worms Head' an outcrop of grass covered rock which is said to resemble a serpent when viewed from a certain angle.
Worms Head can be reached by a very pleasant walk from the car park and you will be rewarded with some fantastic views of rugged cliffs which are popular with climbers, but be careful if there are young children with you as they are unfenced.
Take a picnic with you and sit on the close cropped grass at Worms Head like me and enjoy the view!
