Barafundle Bay
I must admit I haven't been here for many years, but I can assure you if you are in this area a visit to this beach is a must.
It is one of the best beaches in Wales, unspoilt, with golden sands and crystal clear water. Unfortunately, it can only be accessed from Stackpole Quay by a short cliff path and followed by a steep walk through sand dunes to the beach.
The first time I came here thirty years ago , there was only my wife and I on the beach and that was in mid summer! But I have been informed by visitors to my site that there is still the feeling of solitude at Barafundle.
