Episode Quotes

Marla Heasley: "He was really serious. He said: "When you're finished with your make-up, I would like to talk to you. Please come to my trailer." I said: "Okay." So I went to his trailer and he said "have a seat", I said "okay", and then he said: "I just want you to know that we don't want you on the show," he said "We don't want you on the show. None of the guys want you here. The only reason you're here is because the network and the producers want you. For some reason they think they need a girl". (Talking about sexism & George Peppard)

Marla Heasley: "I'm sorry that this is your last day, but remember what I said the very first day, that we didn't want a girl, has nothing to do with you. You were very professional, but no reason to have a girl". (recalling comments made to her by George Peppard)

Dirk Benedict: "It was a guy's show. It was male driven. It was written by guys. It was directed by guys. It was acted by guys. It's about what guys do. We talked the way guys talked. We were the boss. We were the God. We smoked when we wanted. We shot guns when we wanted. We kissed the girls and made them cry... when we wanted. It was the last truly masculine show"

Episode Continuity Errors

Justin Lee Collins describes "British TV for kids in the early 1980's was rubbish" while clips are being shown, he then plays a clip of "Byker Grove" and then continues with his narration "But then came the A-Team". "Byker Grove" was a UK TV series which started in the late 80's (1989-200?) nearly 3 years after the A-Team had finished.

Episode Errors

Collins cleary says that shows running joke was that "nobody actualy died, with one exception" General Fulbright who, in 4th season episode "The Sound Of Thunder" "became the only character to meet his maker on the A-Team". This information is incorrect, Fullbright WAS NOT the first and only character to get shot or die during the show's run.

During the interview with Mr. Cannell, Collins says that "None of the props or costumes where kept", suggesting that The A-Team van itself is no longer. "Cars of the Stars" Museum stats that "The exact amount of vans used during the shows history is unknown, but two owned by A-Team creator Stephen J. Cannell where kept in perfect condition and used for close-up shots." A 3rd van, used in the shows final season was recently auctioned by Bonhams at the Historic Motorsport Show in Stoneleigh, (24th Mar 2007) selling for 9,200.
