Fellow Countrymen.

Hollywood was quite astonished when Dwight Schultz, crazy pilot on the A-team, announced the news himself. Four months ago he had secretly married actress Wendy Fulton, known from the series "Bare Essence". Except for just a few friends and some relatives everybody else believed Dwight would be the eternal bachelor.

The couple got married on June, 12th at the Unitarian Church in York, not too far from Wendy's hometown Stewartstown. Dwight himself grew up in Baltimore, a town barely 50 kilometres away from Stewartstown. "Amazing we had never met before," Dwight laughs. "We practicly grew up in the same neighborhood, but didn't meet until two years ago. Quite accidental, in New York, miles away from our hometowns. A friend of mine asked me to go out on a date with him and his girlfriend. Since I didn't have a date, my friend's girlfriend was bringing along a friend. Like a blind date you might say. I wasn't expecting too much, since blind dates don't work out most of the time. But this was different. When I met Wendy I immediately knew we were going to hit it off. We kept seeing each other and after three weeks we moved in together. We were planning on getting married earlier this year," Dwight continues. "But then the A-team came along and we had to postpone our weddingplans."

A-Team not invited.

"I'm glad we met at a time when we were both relatively unknown actors," Dwight says. "A famous person will always be confronted with that element of doubt when he gets married. Did she choose me because I'm famous, or because she likes me? You'll never be one hundred percent sure. But in our case it was different. We were both still struggling when we fell in love. That's why we wanted a quiet wedding, with just some friends and relatives attending. We didn't want the most beautiful moment in our lives to turn into a publicity stunt. We were offered a fortune for just one single weddingshot. But we refused. Our wedding is just our business, and we just show the wedding album to friends and relatives. Even my A-team buddies weren't invited to the wedding. They had been informed though and understood why I wanted to keep the ceremony a private matter."

Just four months later the word got around in Hollywood.

"I asked the guys not to tell anyone and they've kept their promises," Dwight says. "At a party a reporter asked Wendy and I if we had any wedding plans. " We got married four months ago," I simply answered. At first, he thought I was just kidding, but when I told him all the details, he realized he was getting a real scoop. "Why didn't you say anything?" he asked. "Because nobody asked me," I answered. That's just the way I am. I would like to keep my private life to myself, but I'm not going to lie about it. Everybody can know that I'm a happily married man."

The End
