Welcome to my Transformers Costumes Page.  I started making my first major costume May of 2003.  I wanted to think of a good costume early, so I decided to do something I always wanted as a kid.  Megatron was made, and I had a lot of fun wearing it.  Optimus Prime was started two days after the first one was finished.  Here you will see the various projects I have worked on or am currently involved with.  All of these costumes have been primarilly made with sturdy two-ply cardboard.  All have been made as close to the cartoon as I could.

UPDATE 03/20/2006:  I haven't updated the site in awhile due to a hard drive crash, so I had to re-assemble all my halloween pics from my friends Timmy and NN.  I'll be getting a new computer soon, so I will be redesigning my site with more pictures of mine and other costumes, plus upcoming projects.  Here's a few new ones:
We lost the picures of the first night of Haloween when Bumblebee premiered.  These are from the second night of Halloween when we got shut out of a contest because a robot won last year.  The Pabst guy won.  He put a lot of work into that costume - he drank 400 beers to make his.  My friend NN is wearing Megatron.

Pictures courtesy of Tim & Kathleen Griffith.
These are from Club ? in Milwaukee.  My wife Genesee is in the Bumblebee with NN in Megatron, and I'm dressed as Spike taking the pictures.  Bumblebee looks really cool when Gen dances around because of all the articulation.
This is my new project that's been on hold since the Holidays.  I'm working on improving the joints for the transformation, plus deciding what electronics to add.  There's still a few months left to figure out everything, but should be the best prop I've made yet.  It fully transforms like the toy, but I've tried to make the robot closer to the look of the cartoon.  This is more of an accessory for Megatron, but I am making 2 of them.
