VUELTA A ESPAÑA 2003

The Vuelta 2003 started at Asturias with a team time-trial around Gijón, won by ONCE, that avoided the US Postal triumph. This triumph had meant that Chechu Rubiera wore the gold maillot at his home. Next day, in a very disputed stage, Luis Pérez entered victorious at Cangas de Onís.
