This is a really nice algae eater to use in small tanks. I have them in my tanks with small fry. I have tried other algae eaters, but they sometimes will eat the fry, and so far, this has not happened with these little guys. They do a great job on keeping the tanks clean. A good treat for this fish is spinach, zucchini, peas, lettuce and algae wafers.
