The Bomb
Country of Origin: Switzerland
Rules: You need 5 players or more and then get a tennis ball. Altogether form a circle. Then pick someone to hold the ball. After that's done, the person with the ball, throws it to someone (but not themselves) and when they do that everyone start's counting going 1,2,3,4,5 ETC until they get to 10. The person, who gets the ball, throws it to someone else. They keep doing that until you reach the number 10 and whoever has the ball is then out because the bomb has exploded.
If it's in mid air the person who threw it is out. The ball has to be aimed for the chest. You have to catch the ball. The game keeps going on until there is one person left who hasn't been blown up.
Numbers of players: 5 players and up
Length of game: About 4 minutes and up
How to win: You win by not having the ball on 10 and you have to catch it!
Celtic Marbles
Rules: Choose if you want to be in pairs or as individuals. Find a hole in the ground weither it be a dent, a grid or any other hole. Mark out 2 circles around the hole, 1 of 30 cms in diameter (RED) and 1 of 1 metre in diameter YELLOW). After doing that mark out a start line, it should be about 6 metres away from the hole.
Decide the order of play and stick to it. Each player has 1 marble, they take turns to flick their marble towards the centre circle. They must use the official technique and keep their knuckles on the ground.
If a person gets in the 30 cm circle (red on the above photo) he or she may shoot for the hole, only if there is not another marble in the centre circle. If there is they have to knock them out of the circle using their marble. If a player scores they get a point and their marble is put on the side of the hole. The other players now have to try to knock the scorer away. If they don't the scorer has another shot.
Outdoors
Number of players: 2-4 if individuals, 4-8 if in pairs
How to win: Be the first person/pair with 6 points.
Shoot Out
Rules: Create a Team A and B. Use 2 big squares about the size of 2 thirds of a netball court. (They have to be together). When someone blows a whistle, both teams run on their third. Team A start off with the balls and tries not to show Team B which people in
Team A have the balls. The people with the balls can pass it to other players in their team. When the whistle goes again both teams stop still. Then the people in team A with the balls try and hit people in team B between their knee and ankle.
If they hit a player, that player is out and the game starts again but vice-versa. If they miss, then players from Team B pick up the balls and again but vice-versa as well.
How to win: Last team standing
