Raise Your Hand
Here are the Taiwanese folk
games by junior high school students aged 13-14.
Material: none
Place/Site: any indoor or
outdoor place.
Number of participants:
more than 5 people; the more the better.
Aim: To respond quickly
and precisely according to the command.
How to play: Players sit
in a circle. Choose a girl or a boy to be "IT". IT walks around the circle,
and then stops and stands in front of a player. IT points to the player
and says "Raise your hand". But the one who is being chosen shouldn't raise
his hand. And the players who sit next to the person must raise their hands.
The one who sits on the right raises his left hand. The one who sits on
the left raises his right hand.
The one who raise the wrong
hand will be "IT" at the next turn. The one who has been IT more than three
times will get punishment. (E.G. Singing a song or tell a story).
