Pañuelo
Handkerchief
Players: Many, organized in
two teams. One person (the leader) has a handkerchief in his/her hand.
Tools: A big Handkerchief.
Procedure:
0.The players draw two parallel
lines, and place a spot or central point in between, for the leader.
1.Two teams of players (same
number of people) stand one in front of each other, along each line.
2.Each player thinks of
a number from 1 to the number of players in the team.
3.The leader places him/herself
in between the two groups, on the marked spot. He holds a handkerchief
in his hand.
4.The two groups place themselves
along the lines on the to two different fields, opposite each other.
5.The leader, the person
with the handkerchief, says a number from one to any number (the maximum
is the number of total players in a team).
6.The person who thought
of that number runs and try to catch the handkerchief. As far as there
are one person in each group with that number, they can be face to face
around the leader... until one of them decides to actually hold the handkerchief
and rush away, back to his or her team's field.
7.The other person must
follow him/her and try to catch him/her before he/she arrives "home".
8.If the player with the
handkerchief arrives to home, he wins.
9.If the player with the
handkerchief is caught before arriving home, he becomes a "prisoner".
10. At certain point, it
is possible to "exchange" prisoners and start the game again.
