El bote (The Can)
You need a can to play this
game. A little circle is drawn on the floor. Put the can in the circle.
One person is IT. Another player kicks the can. IT has to go to the place
where the can is now, IT takes the can and returns walking back to put
the can in the circle. While IT returns with the can, the rest of the players
hide them. When IT put the can in the circle says "¡Bote, bote. Voy!"
(Can, can. I go!) and try to find to the hidden players. When IT sees somebody,
IT returns to the can, IT takes the can and say: ¡Bote por...! (Can
for...) and call the name of the found player. This player has to go to
near the circle with the can.
One hidden player can go
to the can without being seen for the person who is IT, then this player
can kick the can and says "¡Bote por mí y por todos mis compañeros!
(Can for me and for everybody!). So, everybody is free and can hide another
time while IT has to go to the can, IT has to take it and returns to put
it in the circle. The game finishes when IT finds everybody and nobody
has been able to free them. In this case the game starts and the first
player who has been found is the new IT. Actually the can is being changed
for a ball, usually a ball without air. |

Necesitas un bote para poner
en práctica este juego. En el suelo se dibuja un pequeño
círculo. Un jugador se la queda y coloca el bote en el centro del
círculo. Otro jugador le da una patada alejando el bote tanto como
puede. El que se la queda va a por él, lo coge y regresa de espaldas
para dejarlo nuevamente en el centro del círculo al tiempo que,
golpeando el bote contra el suelo dice: "¡Bote, bote. Voy!". El resto
de los jugadores aprovechan este intervalo de tiempo para esconderse.
El que se la queda comienza
a buscar a los escondidos. Cuando identifica a alguno, regresa donde está
el bote, lo agarra y golpeándolo contra el suelo dice: "¡Bote
por... (el nombre del que ha identificado)". El jugador nombrado debe salir
de su escondite y permanecer en un lugar cerca del círculo con el
bote.
Si alguno de los escondidos
llega al bote antes de que el que se la queda, puede dar una patada al
bote al tiempo que dice: "¡Bote por mí y por... (uno, varios
o todos los
compañeros ya identificados)".
El que se la queda debe ir a colocar el bote en su sitio, aprovechando
ese tiempo los salvados para volver a esconderse.
Cuando todos los escondidos
han sido identificados, el juego se reinicia quedándosela el primero
en haber sido dado. Hoy en día se practica también
sustituyendo el bote por un balón, generalmente desinflado.
