The Doing, Doing Factory
Kirsty is 9 years old and tells us about a game played when aged 7. My school break times: I Play the Doing Doing Factory. I skip with a rope. I play chases. If it is windy I sometimes get blown up and down the school playground. I sometimes play wall tig in the school porch.

My favourite school playground game: My favourite playground game is “The Doing Doing Factory”.
How to play: My fiends and I made this game up for ourselves. It is a game with two teams. The Doing Doings are the goodies and the Ding Dongs are the baddies. The Ding Dongs have to steal our magic potions or they will die. We have to get the potions back or they will take over the Doing Doing Factory. The game carries over from one playtime to the next and ends when we have run out of plastic bottles. For the potions you need grass, dock leaves, some flower heads, tea leaves, stones and soil. These go into a plastic bottle with some water.

Special game location, surface or design: We play anywhere. The playing surface can be bumpy, smooth, grassy or muddy. There is no special language involved. (Kirsty Miller, 10 years old)
