Hide and Seek
Debbie is 11 years old and tells
us about a game played when aged 5. My school break times: At playtime
I like to play with my friends. We play at chases, handstands and hide'n
seek.
My favourite school playground
game: My favourite playground game is hide n seek. How to play: One person
is chosen to be het. They have to close their eyes and count up to 100.
While that person is counting the others have to run away and find a hiding
place. When the person who is het has finished counting and has left the
den, the others will try to get back to the den without being caught. If
you do get caught before you reach the den then you are het and the game
begins again. You only need people to play hide 'n seek.
Special game location, surface
or design: A good place to play is the school playground or a swing park.
Before the person who is het begins to count the others will say this rhyme:
Big Ben strikes ten. You
must start now! (Debbie Craighead)
