Poarca
At this game participate five
or seven players. Someone draws a circle on the ground. On its circumference
one marks so many little circles as the number of the players are.
Each player needs a stick
that he puts in his little circle. In the middle of the big circle stands
the leader of the game, the swineherd, who has a "poarca"; that is a piece
of wood.
He leads this piece of wood
(poarca) to the beech nut striking it with the stick and pointing it to
one of the player. This one tries to send it again to another player or
he can try to send it in the leader's little circle. He must be careful
of that little circle which remains without the stick inside it.
When he succeed to touch
one of the empty little circle with his stick, the owner of this little
circle changes the role with the leader of the play.
On the other hand, the leader
of the play must take care of his own circle. If a player succeed to put
"poarca" in his little circle (that means the leader's one), he still remains
a swineherd, even if he touches with his stick one of the little circle
left empty. (Razvan Bratosin)
