Frio o caliente (Cold or Hot)
English version by: Neus Lorenzo <[email protected]>, IES La Guineueta, Spain

Children choose an object. One of the players must go out, far from the field where they play, so that he won't be able to see where the rest of the players will hide the object. They hide the object and call him to come. They must shout "frio" ("cold") if he moves around, far away from the object. They shout "caliente" ("hot") if he moves toward the object or near it. Sometimes, if he walks around neither far nor near the object, they shout "tibio" ("warm" or "tepid"). When he gets very close, very near the object, the other children shout "te quemas" ("you are going to get burned"), and they go on until the moment he finds the object. Then, they shout "Te quemaste" ("You got burned").
To start the game again, he chooses another object that everybody can see, and he sends away another child before hiding it.
