This game is Called
"Kerbs"
or "Kerbie"
Tow people play. One person
stands on one path facing the road and the other person stand on the opposite
path.
You use a bouncing ball and
throw the ball and try to hit the kerb of the other path. The other
person has to catch the ball before it hits the kerb, while still remaining
on the path. You can throw the ball backward or forward. If you throw the
ball forwards you get 10 points and if you throw the ball backwards you
get 50 points.
When you win points you move
to the middle of the road and throw the ball at the kerb and get points
each time you succeed. If you miss you run back to you kerb as fast as
you can but if the other hits you with the ball before you get there you
lose all your points! (Casey, Rang 4)
Kerbs
I like playing "Kerbs". If you
want to play Kerbs you have to have a ball and stand on a footpath.
One person stands on one
side of the road and one on the other side. When you are playing you have
to hit the kerb on the other path and if you forward throw you get 10 points
and if you backwards throw you get 50 points. When you get points you move
into the middle of the road and continue to throw the ball at the kerb.
You stay in the middle until you miss and then you run back to the path
on which you were standing. If the person on the other side hits you with
the ball while you are running back they get all you points. And this is
how you play "Kerbie". (Rachel)
