La pétanque
There are lots of games played at school during breaks for example: the most "national" one is "la pétanque".

It consists in a set of 6 or 12 steel little balls that you are supposed to throw as closer as you can to the "piggy" (the 'piggy' is a very small wooden ball, it is the 'target' of the game).

First, the beginning team throws the piggy at a certain distance (not too far, not too close). Then, each team has to throw all their balls towards the piggy, the team that gets the closest ball to the piggy wins the game! Then, you count one point for each ball of the winning team that is closer to the piggy.
