Physico-chemical and biological parameters have been studied in relation to the distribution, abundance and frequency occurrence of ichthyofauna in the Tinau River. This investigation also includes the socio-economic status of the fishermen, fishing implements and methods used in Tinau River. The impact of dam on fish distribution, management and conservation considerations for the development of fishery production in natural water bodies has been described.
