180 Both A Low Gen from a good source.
Grateful Dead 5/7/78 Troy, NY 2 180 All A Low Gen from a good source. Set 1 is great. Dire Wolf instrumental has a great Phil Line with Jerry. The FOTD is spliced together, but it is one of the best versions I have heard. The end of All Over has some cool rhythm led by the drums.
Set 2 - Solid set, Scarlet Jam has a strange Donna Solo which is hard to take. He's Gone has a nice Accapello section. The Drums are long. After, the energy and playing is right on. Phil is loud. Black Peter is sweetly played. Around cuts and continues on|Set 1.

Grateful Dead 11/6/79 The Spectrum Phil., PA
90 1 B+ Standard set but good versions, quality and Song Selection
Grateful Dead 11/23/79 San Diego, CA 2 90 1 A Great mix on the tape if you are a Phil fan; his lines are dominant. The Stagger Lee has a interesting ending. Garcia's vocals are very clear. Phil's lines during Minglewood make it worth not sleeping through.

180 All B+ Phil is great and the tape is worthwhile simply to hear his bass runs. The BirdSong is great and it leads into a Comes a Time > Deal. Second set is good, and the Dew is nice, but not like the sweet 72. The filler of Built to Last Outtakes can be recorded over.

Grateful Dead 10/19/89 Spectrum, Phil., PA
180 All A Low Gen from a Good Source. First 45 minutes are boring. This tour was a bit MIDI strong.
The Masterpiece through Baby Blue are good in set 1, especially Cumberland.
