With three teams tied for the top spot with 16 points each in the North Group of Vitality T20 Blast, the competition is brewing strong. The next few matches are going to govern the fortunes of the teams at the top of the table and all sides involved are going to come out all guns blazing.
Up next in the North Group of the Vitality T20 Blast 2022, Yorkshire are set to take on Birmingham Bears in a match that may well end up governing the eventual table toppers. The match between the two sides is to be played at the Headingley Cricket Ground, Leeds on 1st July 2022.
Yorkshire were languishing in the middle part of the points table for most part of the competition but a late surge has put them firmy into contention to progress to the next round. A win here will push them to the top of the table and that is exactly what they will be aiming for.
On the points table at the moment, Yorkshire are placed at the fourth spot with 15 points to their name. They have won seven and lost four out of 11 completed matches. Like Birmingham Bears, Yorkshire too have a spectacular net run-rate of 1.289, stating their dominance loud and clear.

Birmingham Bears have undoubtedly been the most consistent sides of the competition so far and deserve to get to the knockouts. They do have the credentials to do so and their progression looks certain at the moment. However, they would be targeting to finish at the top of the table and a win here in this upcoming match would certainly help them get that.
As it currently stands on the points table, Birmingham Bears are placed at the top spot with 16 points to their name. They have won eight and lost four matches up until now. Their net run-rate of 1.316 shows how dominant they have been and is one of the reasons why they are frontrunners to qualify for the next round.

The race to the top of the table is brewing well and strong and there couldn't be a better match to govern that, at least in the interim, than this upcoming match. Both sides have been at their dominating best in recent matches and would want to go one up here. There's almost nothing to choose between the two sides on paper and on-form. Having said that, Yorkshire are playing at their home turf and that does hand them a wee bit of advantage. Considering that and the other factors stated above, a bet on Yorkshire win should be the way to go here.
