Even though there is no to little international cricketing action going around, there is just enough action happening to keep the fans and punters busy. Typhoon Women are set to take on Scorchers Women on Sunday, May 30th, 2021. The match will be played at North Kildare Cricket Club, Kildare.
Scorchers Women would be more confident of the two sides going into this tournament as they are leading the series at the moment. After sharing the honors in the first match due to inclement weather conditions, they emerged on top in the second and third matches of the series. However, they could not repeat the feat in the fourth math and will be desperate to bounce back in this upcoming match.
On paper, they have a decent side with Gaby Lewis and Sophie MacMahon at their disposal. They both played a vital role in the third match wherein the Scorchers registered a four-wicket win. All in all, they are ahead in the series and have some experienced players at their disposal. Beating them is going to be a challenging task even though they do not have the momentum.

Playing without some of their key players, Typhoons would be happy to finally taste success in the tournament. After ending up on the losing side in two consecutive games, the Typhoons finally drew the first blood as they defeated Scorchers by 33 runs in the fourth match of the series. They'll be looking to use the momentum and register another one ot draw the series level.
On paper, they have the likes of Rachel Delany and Rebecca Stokell, who both have done well at the international stage. Besides, Delany has been in pretty good form in this series and will be looking to make that could in the upcoming match. If the Typhoons manage to play to their potential, they should make it challenging for the Scorchers in the upcoming fixture.
