The Rajasthan Royals will be taking on the Gujarat Titans in this next match of the Indian Premier League 2022 season. Both RR and GT have played four matches, won three, and sit in the top half of the table. It is still early days and there are ten more matches to be played for each team but we do a sort of template forming regarding the tactics that each team is employing.

Match prediction and IPL betting tips for Rajasthan Royals vs Gujarat Titans IPL 2022. The match is going to be played at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai on the 14th of April 2022.
The Rajasthan Royals have been winning matches because of its strong batting but we also saw just how effective its bowling lineup can be in the previous match. Defending a below-par total, Trent Boult ripped through the LSG top order and was then very well supported by Yuzvendra Chahal who ended with four wickets.
With Prasidh Krishna and R Ashwin also in the lineup, the Royals have four bowling places pretty well locked up. In such a situation, they can be quite experimental with their fifth bowling option and even include part-timers.
We did see a change in the batting lineup as Rassie van der Dussen got a chance and Devdutt Padikkal was promoted to the top. We think this is an excellent move that will pay for the Royals in the long term. It allows Padikkal to bat where he prefers and the middle-order to be strengthened as well.
With Hetmyer in great form and Riyan Parag showing glimpses of what he is capable of as well, the Rajasthan Royals look like a very well-balanced lineup.
We also like the fact that they are so flexible in their approach to the game.

The Gujarat Titans finally lost their first match of IPL 2022 as they went down to SRH. To be fair, it was only Rahul Tewatia that prevented them from losing the match before that as well. We think there are some faults appearing in the Gujarat Titans lineup and they may find the going a lot tougher from here on in.
A clear problem seems to be in the batting department. Take Shubman Gill out of the lineup and you have a team that is struggling massively. Yes, Hardik Pandya has scored runs but this is not the power-hitter we are used to. His strike rate is 122.60 and he has hit just two sixes in total.
The lack of form that Wade and Miller have shown is troubling. We could see Rahmanullah Gurbaz come into the lineup for this match in place of Wade and Miller also put on notice.
The Gujarat Titans will also be a bit concerned about their bowling lineup. Rashid Khan is bowling brilliantly as he picks up important wickets and keeps the runs tight but Mohammad Shami has slowed down after a great start, Lockie Ferguson is leaking runs, and the third-seamer role is still not settled.
Hardik Pandya is himself bowling his full quota of overs but the workload could start to take its toll.
The dependence of GT on Shubman Gill is very disconcerting to us.

The team that wins the toss is going to want to field first. There have been seven matches played at this venue and five of them have been won by the team that has chased. The dew has been a big factor in matches at the DY Patil Stadium.

There is no rain around and so we should not have any interruptions. The pitch at the DY Patil Stadium has been quite good for batting throughout the match. Thre is some bounce and movement on offer with the new ball but after that, it is all in favor of the batsmen. We have also started to see spin play a role now that the pitches are starting to get a bit tired.
A score of around 165-170 is just about par.

We think this is another slam dunk betting market that you can take advantage of. Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, and Shimron Hetmyer have all proven themselves to be prolific six-hitters while Devdutt Padikkal and Rassie van der Dussen can also do the same. This is one betting market where you could choose to be a bit aggressive.
The manner in which Chahal is bowling and the way that he is being used by the Rajasthan Royals puts him in a great position to pick wickets. He picked four in the previous match and is currently the highest wicket-taker in IPL 2022. We think you can take a punt on him to pick up 2 or more wickets once more.
