Still, there are plenty of quality players in the lineup like Jason Roy, Will Smeed, Ahsan Ali, and Naseem Shah. We also saw some spectacular ball striking from Umar Akmal in the previous match showing that there is still some life left in his career yet.

The Karachi Kings finally won their first match of PSL 2022 thanks to a strong bowling performance from their bowlers. Mir Hamza ended up with four wickets, Usman Shinwari was exceptional with the ball giving away just 22 runs in his four overs, and Chris Jordan also hit his lengths well.
This is the kind of bowling performance that the Karachi Kings would have liked earlier in the PSL but that just did not happen.
Their batting still did not fire, though, and that could be a problem against the strong Quetta Gladiators batting lineup. Still, you never want to count out Babar Azam and Sharjeel Khan in the PSL.
From a betting point of view, now that the losing streak for the Karachi Kings is over, it does not seem like a far stretch to see this team getting the better of the Quetta Gladiators.
