Islamabad United is reeling with a few injury concerns and was taken down by Peshawar Zalmi in the previous match. For all the impressive cricket that it has played, it has still won just four out of its eight matches.

Lahore Qalandars would be quite disappointed with their performance in the previous match. Fakhar Zaman got out cheaply for the first time in PSL 2022 and the batting seemed to collapse without him. This is something that is going to be apparent to all the other teams and they are going to come after the Lahore Qalandars batting pretty hard.
On paper, Abdullah Shafique, Kamran Ghulam, Phil Salt, and Harry Brook form a pretty decent batting lineup. David Wiese and Mohammad Hafeez are also excellent batsmen that will add depth to the lineup.
The core of this batting lineup is Fakhar Zaman and his performance will dictate how the team performs to a large extent.
This is also the final match for Rashid Khan in PSL 2022. He is going to depart for national duty afterward and will be looking to make an impact in his final match. We all know just how good the Lahore Qalandars bowling attack is with Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and David Wiese in there as well.
The Lahore Qalandars looked a bit lackluster in the previous match but one poor performance is not enough to lose faith in them.

Islamabad United played its previous match without Shadab Khan and Zeeshan Zameer. Both those players were injured and their participation in this match is not certain either. From the reports that we have seen, it appears as if Shadab Khan may be back for this match but Zeesham Zameer may continue to miss out.
It was also a bit strange to see Colin Munro not being picked for the previous match even though Alex Hales is no longer a part of the setup. If Shadab Khan comes back, he could play in place of Liam Dawson and that would open up a place for Colin Munro in the team in place of Danish Aziz.
That would make this Islamabad United team very strong indeed. We advise having a look at their playing eleven before placing your bets since that will affect how the team will play massively.
At full strength, we believe Islamabad United has a better batting lineup with more power and depth in it. Shadab Khan is having the tournament of his life while Azam Khan also seems to be in terrific form.
The bowling was a bit short in the previous couple of games but there is quite a bit of talent to work there as well. Waqas Maqsood, Mohammad Musa, Shadab Khan (potentially), and Merchant de Lange form a pretty strong bowling attack.
We think the market is underestimating the potential of Islamabad United to bounce back and that is something we can take advantage of.

The conditions in Lahore seem to be getting a bit slower and more difficult for batting. The ball has kept quite low in the previous couple of matches after it gets a bit old and that will make scoring quickly at the back end difficult. The outfield is still very fast, though, and batsmen will get full value for their shots.
In general, though, we could see total scores come down, the number of sixes decrease, and chasing teams struggle.
